MSNBC Pulls ‘Morning Joe’ Due To Concerns Guests Might Make ‘Inappropriate’ Comments About Assassination Attempt On Trump: Report
MSNBC has reportedly pulled one of their signature morning shows – Morning Joe off the air due to concerns one of their guests might make an “inappropriate” comment about former President Donald Trump narrowly escaping an assassination attempt over the weekend.
CNN is citing a source familiar with the matter who says Morning Joe, featuring hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, was pulled for some very specific concerns.
The network has chosen to air coverage of significant political news – including the upcoming Republican National Convention along with the shocking attempt on Trump’s life that took place over the weekend – rather than air a new episode of the opinion and commentary show.
The show will resume on Tuesday.
But the source told CNN that “the decision” to pull Morning Joe “was made to avoid a scenario in which one of the show’s stable of two dozen-plus guests might make an inappropriate comment on live television that could be used to assail the program and network as a whole.”

Morning Joe Pulled Because Of Unhinged Guests
Think about what they are saying here. The brass over at MSNBC is so concerned that their guests are too unhinged to offer reasonable commentary about the Trump assassination attempt that they opted to simply not put them on the air.
This is their flagship morning program and the ‘stable of guests’ are so incendiary that they can’t risk having them speak on national television.
Cesar Conde, the chairman of NBCUniversal News Group, made the decision to pull Morning Joe. Rashida Jones, the president of MSNBC, and hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, also agreed according to the CNN report.
During a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Donald Trump was the target of an assassination attempt, allegedly at the hands of 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks.
Crooks fired multiple shots toward the stage, with one bullet ripping Trump’s ear and injuring him.
One attendee to the rally, Corey Comperatore, died while shielding his wife and daughters from the bullets. He died a true hero. Two others were critically injured.

Maybe It Was Joe They Were Worried About
They may be blaming it on their guests, but MSNBC might have opted to pull Morning Joe because God only knows what Scarborough might have said.
This is the same man who took a comment by Trump about a ‘bloodbath’ in the auto industry out of context intentionally so as to suggest to viewers that Republican supporters would grow violent if he lost the 2024 election.
It’s also a guy who told his viewers during the pandemic that Republican politicians were trying to “euthanize” senior citizens.
That’s the person who is so worried about his guests flying off the handle that he helped decide to pull his own show. On one of the biggest news days of the century.
Of course, CNN might want to keep an eye on their own shows during these contentious times. In 2016, a CNN anchor and crew were caught on tape joking about Donald Trump’s airplane crashing.
If MSNBC is worried, what will happen on The View this morning? Or any of the other numerous far-left shows on these mainstream media networks?
