Jon Stewart Mocks Media For Being Distraught Over Image Of Biden Tied Up In The Back Of A Truck
Jon Stewart, host of The Daily Show, criticized the thin-skinned media for being distressed over an image showing President Joe Biden tied up in the back of a pickup truck.
Distressed might not be strong enough of a word.
Donald Trump shared a video of the truck with the decal painted on its liftgate. (Maybe this scandal should be called LiftGate.)
The mainstream media was beside themselves over the image. Headlines about the GOP frontrunner encouraging violence by posting an image of Biden ‘hogtied’ in the back of a truck were everywhere.
Leftist political analysts nearly went apoplectic. NBC Universal executive Mike Sington, who recently had to remove a post on X targeting Barron Trump, called the image “shocking” and described Trump as a “depraved monster” for sharing it.
Keith Olbermann insisted the owner of the truck be arrested for making a threat against the President.
And that’s just the start. The TV news was even worse.
Stewart though, wasn’t buying it.

Jon Stewart Roasts Media For Pearl-Clutching Response
How absurd does the media reaction have to be for Jon Stewart to call them out? Stewart is by no means a Trump supporter.
“That’s what was so disturbing and dehumanizing you wouldn’t show it on television? An airbrushed Biden decal on the back of a truck?” he asks. “Aren’t you the same networks that show reruns of 9/11 every year?”
“I mean I don’t think it’s great that Trump is posting things like this, but it’s not like people really think Joe Biden was tied up in the back of the truck.”
Stewart specifically called out MSNBC’s Ali Veshi. He did suggest people would be duped by the image.
Veshi, who once stood in front of a burning building during a riot and declared it “mostly a protest” and “not, generally speaking, unruly,” refused to show the truck decal because of its “violent and disturbing nature.”
“If you’re driving behind it, it would appear as if Joe Biden were actually restrained on the vehicle’s flatbed,” Veshi breathlessly states.
Stewart responded by bursting into laughter.
“If you think that’s really Joe Biden tied up on the back of the pickup truck, I don’t know that you have the mental acuity to be operating a motor vehicle,” Stewart quips.

Goes After Trump For Fraud Case
As stated, Jon Stewart is not a Trump fan by any stretch. He recently defended the New York State Attorney General for her frivolous civil fraud case against the former President.
Stewart claimed that Trump left victims in his wake by overinflating the value of properties.
“They are not victimless crimes,” he claimed.
Shortly after that, reports surfaced that Stewart overinflated the price of a penthouse he sold in 2014 by 829%. Critics suggested the news makes Stewart a hypocrite.

The same media distraught over the Biden truck decal thought Kathy Griffin holding up Trump’s bloodied, severed head was just comedy.
Now that want to see the truck driver imprisoned. Isn’t it odd how easily they slip into ‘jail Trump supporters’ mode now that they know the administration is willing to do so?
